BRING ON THE MEN

The opening number was on a crisp, clear Saturday afternoon when the Rhode Island Gay Men’s Chorus brought their summer jam to the Pawtucket Arts Festival. Casually dressed in summer white T-shirts and blue jeans, they rolled out solo hits from their spring cabaret performance as well as choral numbers from their winter concert: Our Show Must Go On.

They roused the audience with Choose Your Fighter”, Do You Hear the People Sing and Make Them Hear You "; tickled them with the playfully articulate Way Ahead Of My Time, and serenaded them with Rainbow Connection, Love Story, and Love Who You Love. They closed with You’ll Never Walk Alone, Climb Every Mountain, and Kim Kuda’s beautiful Original song: Colors of Us.

They’re currently in rehearsals for their Holiday show: MERRY AND BRIGHT to play at the Scottish Rite Masonic Center Dec 4, 5 & 6. When the Gay Men’s Chorus brings on the men, you can be sure you will be in for a musical sensation!
