This Sunday, June 14th, was Seekonk’s third annual Pride event, and I was fortunate enough to attend this year. Located behind the Newman YMCA in Seekonk, the space was welcoming and cozy. Many vendors showed up in support, who deserve to be shouted out:
Attleboro Community Theatre
Community Counseling of Bristol County
Congregation Agudas Achim
Foster MA - Massachusetts DCF
Free Mom Hugs- Massachusetts
Girl Scouts of Southeastern New England
Haus of Codec
Newman Congregational church
Osamequin Farm
PFLAG Attleboro
Seekonk Congregational Church
South Coastal Counties Legal Services
Women's Fund SouthCoast

Seekonk Pride also hosted many amazing performers that I was fortunate to catch. Here is a list of the amazing performers:
Catnip Junkies
New England Witches Guild
Aba
Coastline Show Chorus
Cool Beverages
Field of Embers
Kelsea Guidice
Ivy Amore
Let’s not forget the food! Barrels and Boards Food Truck served up some delicious food like mac and cheese and Mini Candied Bacon Skewers. Palagi’s ice Cream served up delicious ice cream and frozen lemonade, which was the perfect treat in the summer sun. A+ Kettlecorn served Kettlecorn. The kettlecorn was a sweet and delicious treat. Last but not least, The Old Grist Mill Tavern served slices of its world-famous rainbow cake. Not only was the food great, but we also got to watch wrestling matches and take part in a raffle for amazing prizes. The wrestling was amazing and incredibly entertaining for all ages. Overall, Seekonk Pride was definitely a great experience. Everyone was so kind and welcoming. Volunteers welcomed us as soon as we walked onto the grounds. They floated around the venue and made us feel so welcome. I can’t wait to come back next year. Seekonk Pride- thank you so much for having me!
